Our project in Bursa, Turkey was one of the largest, but definitely the most difficult logistically. The construction site was the historic palace which was previously used as a museum and at the time of reconstruction it was repurposed as the luxury Blue Diamond Palace Hotel . The whole team had to be relocated to the construction site in Turkey and the crates with glass sheets were delivered directly there. It had to be done because of the complexity of each stained glass panel, there were many domes on site, so they needed to be frequently for exact curvature in their designated positions during the manufacturing process. But, although it was a considerable challenge for the whole team, the whole process was completed before scheduled deadline and the team members agreed it was fun to do every manufacturing phase on site and in another country. In spare time there was enough time to get acquainted with another culture and to appreciate the abundance of local historical monuments and sites. Take a look at some photos!
